HTC all i want for chrismas now that i have my panther (and thank u for it) is auto pilot to be disabled when you hit a key, not when my joystick leans over slightly. 5 times over the past 2 weeks i have crashed in to the ocean with my 262 while i went for a cold beer/cig. I went from 1200 perks to 300 from this issue. I no all might not want this so maybe it could be an option u can turn on or off. 
I believe the easiest solution for you is to either get your beer faster, get if before you take off, or just don't leave your perk ride unattended.
3rd seems to be the safest.
