i agree with uptown-and i personally have no problem with nate----he seems like a good kid until somebody stars giving him a hard time.then he does what most other people do and thats fight back.if you don't like nate nate,squelch him or move to another base or another map,or another country.nates a good stick and a good gv'er.and is easy to get along with,just don't give him a hard time.nuff said :cheers:

I have nothing against nate personally.  I've endured his squeakerness, his play by play vox, his demand for attention but last night was the final straw. Uptown your reasoning is sound and I applaud your efforts but its no different than what other squads , 777th etc.  have tried to accomplish with Nate. He just does NOT get it and falls back into these destructive habits. Unfortunatley for the rest of us it affects our game play. He should not be allowed to ruin others time for leisure just because he can. I enjoy a good fight just as much as the next player but I think all will agree there comes a time when too much is too much. To purposefully ruin the entire spawn point by upping REPEATEDLY and shooting smoke into you countrymans field of fire at one of the few and most active gv spawns is crossing the line. Especially when everyone on your side at the at the spawn is asking, telling, and finally cursing at you not to do that. I removed the origninal post and sent it in an email to HTC. I hope that they will take some action. Especially with school being let out we can expect more of this type of behavior from the afore mentioned party because he wont be in school.

Again IM not attacking Nate personally. Id love to see him mature into the player I know he can be. He just needs to be taken down a peg or too by the powers that be. Perhaps a weeks suspension will get the message across to him.

Good for him. The perpetual whack a mole spawn camping has taken what could, and should be one of the most interesting parts of the game, and reduced it to a mindless, skill less penny arcade, hence the term "whack a mole". It is the entire reason why you rarely see me in a GV anymore.

I dont think the person should be banned. I think he should be given a flipping medal and awarded 1,000 extra perk points

I was at the spawn for a bit. Myself, I thought some of the other people at the spawn were firing smoke and AP/HE near 800Nate to obscure/mess with him.
Didn't know he was doing it to bother people. I thought he was doing it, as others were goofing around while waiting for uppers.
I had to leave after about 10 minutes at the spawn, I didn't see/hear anything but normal banter.

How do you lay off some one that's beating you over the head with a bat while constantly swearing in your ear at the same time? I've never met him, but that's the impression I'm getting here, and my impressions are usually right...

{snip -- Hijack--}

...... standing on a street corner smoking dope and stealing hubcaps.

Alright, 70's-man  You just dated yourself.  For your information, NO ONE steal hubcaps anymore.  :rofl    Everyone has 22"-inch (at a minimum) rimPs  (spelling intentional).  Hubcaps, if you can even find them, have no value except to the scrape metal dealers -- but even then they are usually worthless since the only manufactures that still have 'wheel covers' are a Honda's and Toyotas -- and they make them out of plastic.   :rofl  :D

 :lol  Back in the day I knew this little old Italian man that ran a small restaurant in Baltimore. He also ran the numbers racket in the area. So he was "connected" if you know what I mean. He bought a brand new Lincoln one day and drove it to work. It was out front no more then a hour when kids stole the hub caps not knowing the new car was his. Before he left work that day the caps were back on the car as if it never happened.  :rofl

I was thinking of that when I typed that post.

because he is paying his fee just like you are. if you can't hear him, or see what he types, then he cannot really annoy you now, can he?

Come on DRED ... spawing camping hasn't changed one iota since I started in 2002 ... only the names and vehicles have changed.

Maybe you missed the point ... maybe you didn't ... he was smoking his own countrymen, not the enemy. Most definitely a case of "griefing" that was totally uncalled for and HTC should send him a message.

Uptown ... kudos to you for trying to set this kid on the right path ... good luck with that.
