Panther wont move.
« on: December 18, 2010, 03:05:37 PM »
Has anyone else experienced this?  My very first sortie in one I had a brief period of time where I had parked momentarily to provide a bit of covering fire for another RTB countryman and when I tried to move again nothing happened.  I tried frantically for a few seconds to get it going, changing gears, putting it in reverse, and it just wouldn't go.  I got hit with a round from an enemy tank then it started working again.  I wrote this off as a possible issue with my stick as it's getting well worn these days but last night I was defending a Vbase and someone upped a Panther and said on vox it wouldn't move.  He towered, upped again and it was fine.  Don't want to put it up as a bug until I find out if anyone else has seen this issue.

Also I neutral creeped a Panther on a hillside, isn't that supposed to not work anymore?

Haven't seen this yet, but I haven't used them much yet.  I'm trying to rebuild my vehicle perk point total after losing 2 tigers and one panther in a single night (-70 points?).

Were you in the right "mode"?

I think default for vehicles is "mode 2" for controls.

Did you change anything?

You probably ran out of gas.  The invisible pit crew filled it up for you.

I haven't driven the Panther yet, so I haven't had this happen.

Is it possible the ground clearance was an issue & the tank got hung up from underneath?

Junk.

Feel good BS.

Pay a sober person to blow into it for you then drive home drunk.

Too expensive. One time investment in cheap bicycle pump will do.
