Saitek Throttle AND MS FF Joystick together

Thought some of ya might like to do similar, I hooked up my Saitek USB (the #1 POV hat is tits up) and my MSFF Sidewinder to my system along with my CH Pro pedals and now have more buttons via the throttle and soon will have Force feedback when HTC updates.

Only draw back is I got both MS and Saitek software running on the taskbar....although I suppose I could do without the MS profiler by mapping all my buttons via AH setup.

Anyway, those of you who like your MSFF, but want more buttons here is an option. Also Saitek sells reconditioned Joystick/throttles for $39 so it's a cheap option to go with.

How did you get the X35 throttle and the MSFF stick to work together?  

Is your MSFF stick USB?  or do you use gameport?  Doesn't the throttle wire into the X36 stick?


I have the MSFF Pro, gameport only.

The Saitek throttle plugs into the Saitek stick which is USB and the MS stick plugs into the soundcard.

I put the Saitek stick under the desk and just use the throttle.

The AH front-end sees all controllers plugged in so ya just pick which one ya want for which axis.

Wish you wouldn't have said that. When 1.07 comes out with FFB and you guys work out all the bugs, I may have to invest in a FFB. Maybe we could get a FFB arena so we are all playing at the same level

My X36 is in the mail.  I look forward to using the Saitek HOTAS setup but I didn't want to give up my FF stick - was looking for some solution.

Sweet, and good info.

Im still waiting for the FEDEX version to replace this battered 'Ol faithful though.

I have e-mailed Saitek about the POV1 abuse and if like my last 3 Saiteks, they just replace them for free.
