Skorpion, you need to put more thought into your posts. There's another Yak-3 thread already going. That one wasn't good enough for you? Also - it's been asked for before. A quick search of the BBS and you would have been helpful to your "cause"
the yak-3 wasnt the main idea here i just said i wanted it, the ЛаГГ-3 is the main idea here.

Max speed 357? Sounds like a dog next to the Yak 9U, which does 395 at just over 6k ft
The Kanonenvogel had 6 rounds per pod, this is not even close to being open for debate.

You would probably get better results if you called it a LAGG-3, like the rest of us English speaking folk would call it............  Continuing to spell in Russian only makes you look ignorant Bro.  And I'm not trolling you, just trying to help you see the mistakes you make here and why you can't get no............ Satisfaction.

I was calling it the ЛаГГ-3 because thats its name. but if you so desperately need it to be the LaGG-3 then so be it.  I still think it should be added because it would be the only russian plane (other than the IL-6) that can actually fill the attack role we need.

And I'll go you one further..... You wished for a Yak-3 and didn't even know what a LAGG-3 was until somebody showed you.

LaGG is just a transliteration of ЛаГГ, it's a way of spelling it in the latin alphabet... still makes the same sound. You don't write out Ла-5 or Як-3 or И-16, I just used the cyrillic because I felt like... being special, I guess.
LaGG stands for Lavochkin Gorbunov Gudkov... Gorbunov and Gudkov stopped making contributions to the series after the -3, so their names were dropped for the -5 which is why it's called only the La-5.

Further, the LaGG-3, like its descendants in the La-5 and La-7, was not an attack aircraft. The Soviets early in the war got the idea that unguided rockets were the future of air-to-air combat (clearly, they were wrong).
The most important thing about the LaGG was that, along with the MiG-3 and Yak-1, it was among the best types that the VVS had fielded at the beginning of the war. The overall best, though, was probably the Yak-1.

LaGG is bleh.    But I notice most of this Community is for "adding same lineage planes".

IAR 81c, Mig-3 and the D.520 should be in game.
