Offpeak map (Mindanao) not saved/loaded correctly
« on: January 11, 2011, 01:07:24 AM »
This is how Mindanao yesterday looked like about 10 minutes before arena shutdown:

And this is how it came up this morning:

I count 9 fields that had been "regained" by Bishops at the time the arena came back up. Quite unlikely they all had ben captured in the 10 minutes before everyone was booted.

No wonder we are struck with Mindanao during offpeak for more than a month now ...

the same thing happened to the nits or rooks regaining bases a few days ago. they had 9 bases that they did not have when the arena shut down the day before

Yesterday had some weirdness with the off hours arena with the player counts & such.  We fixed that but at the expense of the arena's state.  It shouldn't happen again but if it does then it's some other bug.

One problem is that while it may not seem to be a big deal from a distance, the it caused a lot disconcertment and irritation, as a lot of players are already very weary of this map that is being up now for about 4-5 weeks.  :uhoh

Well, I will try to check during the next few days to see if anything like that happens again.
