off hours

get rid of the off hours.  those of us who play only during the day (central) are getting screwed.  same old map.  no gv fights.  this wish is not from a newb but from a loyal 10-11 year customer.

It wasn't my ideal - that would probably be the old uncapped MA... but the peak/off hours arena system was my idea, yes :)

rgr and in my opion that setup screws those of us who like the choice of upping a tank for great gv fights or flying a plane for great plane battles.  imho,  the map choice as it is now is not working.  look at my flying time.  it has been greatly reduced as a direct result of the off hours setup.

Look at my flying time. It has been greatly increased as a direct result of the off hours setup. Especially as I am an allround player not looking for 1v1 duels but great plane battles and gameplay variety (including a lot of tanking). In that regard the new setting has been an incredible improvement on so many levels.

The problem is not the off hours setup, but the abandonment of weekly map rotation which happened at the same time, but was NOT a part of my idea. Take note that in fact a few weeks I specifically asked to reintroduce that as quick as possible, so that we are bot stuck with a map excluding certain styles of gameplay.

your second paragraph makes alot of sense and i agree with the logic of that statement.  now the question is why is mindinow still up during off hours and causing this riff in the force   :(

Because nobody had won it so far. ;)

But since the recent adjustment in base capture requirements I see a LOT more base taking, so it's very possible to win the map again... I think currently we are just unlucky with no faction having sustained momentum long enough.

what really confuses me is how much the ease of capture can help the team who got raped the night before get it back quicker off hours!! 

So in the long run is it easier to reset the map with difficult captures or easier???     the mind boggles    :rolleyes:


The map swap every week or month would solve Dad's complaint.
