Just wondering if it's enabled on this card? I tried to select 2-4x in menu and it had no effect on visuals (not that I could see anyway). I use 1600x1200x32 and FR is sweet but picture quality compare to V5 is just a bummer

. Am I missing something?

That resolution is incredibly high.

You don't have enough video bandwidth to run that resolution AND do FSAA. Drop your resolution to 1024x768 and try turning on FSAA. Once you get it working, try bumping your resolution up bit by bit and see how far it can go. Remember though, doing 4x FSAA is like rendering the image 4 times per frame, so you need a LOT of video RAM to make that happen. Running FSAA at 1600x1200 is just not likely possible with the video ram and bandwidth that current cards provide.

1200x1024 might be a nice compromise for you though.

But yes, the V5's image quality is damn good, and once you've had one you are spoiled.

Hi Lynx,
I could be wrong but I don't think FSAA works on the Radeon above 1024 * 768.

Correct snafu,..ATI disables the FSAA ability when the resolution is at 1024x768 or above.
