logitech mic not working ingame.

hey guys, i recently purchased a logitech "clearchat stereo" headset, but the mic doesnt seem to work ingame. ive tryed it out on other things (other games, skype,etc) but for some reason it doesnt seem to want to work for aceshigh.

any advice?

Did you set it up in windows first? From the clipboard go to options > preferences > game sounds. Select your mic..

You can also click the advanced tab for more control over other sounds. Be sure to click apply

do you mean the "microphone" section? i tried that, but no option pops up in that tab at all.

You should see your mic or soundcard or your onboard sound device there. You can check to see if it works  by
typing in the chat buffer   .radio5 your callsign     to see what it sounds like. if you have not set it up in windows you should even
though other stuff works. Go to Start > control panel > Sound and audio > voice > test hardware and do the test to see what happens.
The mic maybe muted. When you double click the speaker icon in the bottom right of the screen should bring up play back control.
click advanced under microphone and select +20 db boost.
