New Problem: Disconnects
« on: January 05, 2011, 12:16:27 PM »
First off, I ran a "search" on this, but per usual for me, the search function just doesn't work. All I ever get is posts from 2000 or 2001 and
using the "advanced" search just hangs on up on me.
Anyway, here's the deal. My connects are always rock solid and it's only once every few months I might get a "lost UDP".
However, today, twice in ten minutes, I completely lost my host connection without even the usual "Lost UDP" message.
I've downloaded "Ping Plotter Freeware". Can somebody tell me the IP address I need to use to run a plot with this?

  My thanks, Oddball

I kept getting dumped last night, 3 flights 3 discos.  found a lose connection wire on my modem.  sometimes its not even the internet that is the problem  :noid.  if it only happens sometimes, like in my case, i wouldnt worry about it.  it's when it happens constantly over a period of time, that you may have a problem.

Hi Semp,
I didn't even think of that. I've read Skuzzy's post which Dragon was kind enough to provide me the link to.
But, I think before I go any further, I'll do the old "shove the jack all the way in" thing and see if that
fixes me up. Much obliged.
