The "base under attack" thingy can be turned down to a more acceptable level so it isn't as distracting.  I like it at "0".  I think it's listed as "Warning" in the clipboard sound settings.

I was thinking...I know.. have fun with that....with most people loving pure furballing why is the WW1 areana have so few participants? no base takers, no NOE .
