Great Fight over A80 frame 02 <S> USMC

<S> USMC great mission!!  You accomplished the 3 main items that lead to mission success:  A great and simple plan, detailed coordination's and seemless communications during flight between your squad and the 325th VFG.  Very nicely done <S>

Looking at the logs we ran into the 367th FG defending A80.  <S>  That was a good fight over A80 starting with a 25K merge and holding at 20 - 25K for several minutes before descending lower towards the deck.  What hit you was the 325th VFG conducting a Fighter Sweep ahead of USMC.  We had the 109's and the USMC had the 190's with ordnance.  Well defended and executed on your part.  I have to admit I didn't expect to see LA-7's at 25K nor for your pilots to try to hold the high ground for as long as you did.  In the end it looked like the 109's had better climbing performance at altitude and we finally worked above you.

I know there has been a "discussion" about unfair match ups but in this case from what i saw it was pretty fair.  I got chased as much as I chased.  We lost 4 AC to your squad and we took 4 from you during a endless furball that probably lasted 10 minutes in real time.  If the ALLIES over A80 had had just a few more AC this could have been a very different outcome.

Lastly and most IRONICALLY (with much difficultly) I must pass a personal <S> to Krusty (USMC) who appeared just when things looked bad for me and cleared my 6 of 3 LA-7's.  Then using a shifting combination of loops and barrel rolls we cleared SLED and each other twice more and got away our selves toward the end of sortie 01.  I will continue to disagree with most of the silly positions you take and defend and thoughts you post in the BBS, but I cannot disput your abilities as a pilot your tenacity in a fight and wiliness to stay and cover a friendly pilot against stiff odds.  And now I must stop or my computer will explode.  And now for you the AHII Solid Gold Dancing Banana's:

It was a great time, and a well executed mission. You guys did a fine job in escort, and a special thanks to lowtec for excellent communication and help with coordination.

Without a doubt one of the best run and most organized missions we have been on in a while. Proof that squads can follow orders AND have a great time in FSO.

As for Krusty, he may be a rather opinionated chap, but he is a fine squad mate, an excellent pilot, and a lot of fun to fly with. We are happy to have him in USMC/71sqn.
