As most know I rarely visit these boards, and even more rarely post a response to what I call childish banter, however this is different I only hope odd replies to me in a timely fashion so I can handle this quickly.

Not at all. And really, old boy, you should go hump somebody else's ankle rather than
trying to soil my socks with another of your one-liner post inanities. If you find
that too intellectually-challenging, feel free to reply with one or more of your
"classic" smiley-posts:   :cry :o ;) :O   :devil :pray  :x :bolt: :airplane: :bolt:  :joystick:
I put that post up for two reasons. The first was to illustrate another example
of how cross-country PMs are utilized by some to suck yet more fun out
of the game; and secondly to let my fellow players who happen to be
flying as Bishops and doing missions know that there is/are folks out
there compromising their missions intentionally.
What the guy's rationale was for directing his PM was to me, I've no idea.
I don't know the guy, nor have I conversed with him in the past that I'm
aware of.
As far as names go, if Joker himself is concerned about it and feels it to be something
he needs/wants to address as the C.O. he can PM me via the BBS and I'd
be happy to give him the name of the individual.

Could have been an accident. if you have tuned to someone text and they log off, I've seen the buffer tune to the next person in the roster list. oops!  :lol

One can only be vulched if one allows one's self to be.

The solution is so simple, it is not worth repeating.

Personally I have no idea wht HT allows cross country comms. It's stupid :) The only way to talk to the other side should be 200. NO PMing, No Squad vox over countrys, No voice PM's, no talking to the other side period. The are other ways that this practice saps the game and steals the fun,
but I'll refrain.
Okay..Add 2 Country's at once, Australia and France next plane update Add ...CAC Boomerang and the Dewoitine D.520

Now that makes the most sense out of everything in this thread!  And it's the reason I no longer use .r often.  They don't even have to log.... If somebody on your squad channel, or channel 5 types in the middle of your convo, I've sent them a PM instead of the "real" person.  I haven't seen it happen in over a year but I have seen it before.

It'd be nice if that was the case, but I got several PMs after that from him. After my initial reply of something like:
"I'm not into the spy thing, please refrain from passing along any more initel to me." I got something like: "Oh sorry, I just wanted to
teach Chewie a lesson about 'cooperating'. Then I got another with a "<S>" which I didn't return as I didn't think
the individual deserved one given the initial PM.
It is what it is, that's all. It's not an isolated occurance and it goes on all the time, Rooks included. Its become just
part of the game.
Anyway, it's being handled personally by Joker, so end of story, end of post as far as I"m concerned.

OH NOOOOOOO!!!  There is no such thing as spying (cheating) going on here. I was corrected by everyone in this forum community weeks ago about this topic. It seems that if you enjoy the organization and skill of your group and you detest players that fail to follow the spirit of the game, then you are disliked in here. There will always be those that cannot play or organize players well and will resort to less than desirable tactics to overcome superior minds.

So remember, never make comments about spies (cheaters) as you will get flammed by the forces that dwell in these forums.

Spying and cheating are two different things young man.  By all means, show us the quote where somebody told you different.
