joining your tank.
« on: January 20, 2011, 01:01:31 AM »
What if someone joins your tank whatever position is not occupied can be used by the person who joined or the original person in the tank.  Lets say you want to get on the pintle gun while your bud is in the main gun or have him drive while you gun.  I ain't very good at searching with the search bar, so I'm not sure if its been asked for. what ya guys think?

Well you can't let your buddy drive as he is joining as a gunner (same for airplanes), but you can use your machine gun while someone else is in the main gun.

nope... learned that one while we were doubling up in GVs for a day. youre stuck in the driver's seat. and along with that, the gunnery positions can get a little jerky on the move

It's just like joining a single bomber right now.  You can only drive when you have a gunner, just like you can only pilot when you have a single bomber.

and along with that, the gunnery positions can get a little jerky on the move

Smoothing out the gunner's view while gunning:  +1

Me and Jonah do this to great success. he drives, I gun. The other day in TT we did 4 sorties, we achieved 26 kills total. I am sure some of those guys we were owning in TT were pissed.

In the same idea, if you kill someone's GV or bombers with multiple people in it, why only 1 kill. Should count as two kills. Yes, you shot down 1 GV or 1 plane, however it always only says you killed the pilot/driver. :t :salute

You're killing the plane, or tank, or ship, not the people.

War isn't about killing people.   :noid

Conversly, this counts as two kills. Only one pilot.   :aok

That is an accomplishment with two players in the same tank. Great communication is needed to do this. Outstanding! :salute
