Free Track IR - with a catch
« on: April 10, 2011, 01:12:57 PM »
For those with electronic backgrounds - I have a busted track ir camera, and will throw in the head clip thing (the thing with reflector's, not the track clip) if any of you fancy giving it a go to get it working again.

No idea how/why it died, but is lying around here not being used (replaced with a working one).

Soooo, if you think you can fix her up, its your's.

If you need one that bad there is a french program that can turn a webcam into a track IR for free (I've never actually tried it on acount of I don't have a webcam and I'm not just going to go out and buy one.)  The program is Free Track, google should give you some good results.

Fugi is well aware of Free Track. He did a nice write up on it a few years ago.

You can see it here: http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,223422.0.html

There's also a program where you can turn an old 16mm video camera into track ir. You just have to mount it on your head.
