Was stationed in Oklahoma.

Thanks for sharing that, Dred.  I wasn't that familiar with Gobel but he sure was dang funny.  Those guys were all great - they always looked like they were really having fun, whereever they were.   I'm pretty sure that was real beer in their glasses, and that didn't look like his first (or second).

That whole episode is available on a "Best of Carson" compilation.  Forget the name of the set, but my parents have it and I have watched that episode five times so far.  Funniest Live TV ever.  Always loved George Gobel, but Dean Martin really stole the show.
