He recieved no such message because on his end there was no collision, only a near miss. Where you are relative to him on your screen is not the same as where he is relative to you on his screen. It's due to lag. It is a fact of life.
Aware of it, but to acuratley describe it will make me sounds mad, it was lag that jibbed me but there wasn't any other sign of any lag or network issues leading up to it so it was either a fluke/spike or there really wasn't any lag.
As we were leading up to the colision, manuevering quickly and rapidly without any lag issues until he plowed into my rear while I was doing a rapid diving barrel roll that he was opting to follow me through, litteraly. His plane never warped on my screen and there were not network jerks/pauses, he was litteraly on my tail so close during the last maneuver for a few seconds that I could reach back and touch him and I was wondering how he hadn't gotten a colision already (usualy I do by then). As soon as I stopped rolling to begin a sharp turn, bam the colision happened. So I figure "lag" is what positioned his plane into or infront of my plane without any colision on his end and then caused my plane's front end (on the wing-tip) to register a colision. Very erkked that I seem to be the only player in this game that can't get to within 100' or less on someones 6 because of collisions, but this fellow here got all the way to one-foot infront of me without anything.
