Happy Tet
« on: February 01, 2011, 11:42:41 AM »
To all you survivors of Tet '68  (Jan 30th and on)  a hearty handshake.

For those who fought at the Phu Tho racetrack and Cholon District for most of Feb. '68  all I can say is
'whew' that was a mess and glad to see all that made it through that period and have
made it to old 'fart'hood.

I agree, kind of a tongue in cheek "celebration".  Just saw the calendar and remembered.
You know how a memory can kinda jump at you.  'Happy'  was probably not the best term
to use, but the forum posting rules would have been bent a bit if I had used the words
I really think of this time of year.
 :salute
especially to your vet's and any others on the board.
