Also "if" we had a guy that didn't show up because he didn't like the plane set or side choice.  He'd be ejected on the spot.

I guess I'll show up and conviently "get lost" shortly after takeoff.   :neener:

Commitment.  When there is a low turnout in a Frame or whole FSO one side due to many MA players who view the planeset as substandard based soley on Late War parameters then they have no REAL commitment to thier squads who have to register with prior commitment levels before the FSO is divided among the squads for both sides.

FSO is strictly voluntary per squad and squadmembers.  Not showing up because the "ride" sucks is poor sportsmanship.

Now, if absenteeism is based on legitimate reasons due to real life, then that's different.

Shut down the LW arenas. Then they'd have to fly the non-uber planes now-and-then.  :D

LOL

I have felt over the years that the Axis tend to have a softer turn out. When I divide up the sides I generally give the Axis a bit more to compensate.

I don't have the time, but I would love to be able to go back over the last few years of FSO and compare squad commitments, with squad turn out and then look at who was Axis and Allied and see if my assumption is correct. I would guess there is a 5% or so less of a turn out for Axis on the average, but I could be totally wrong.

I would love to see the last five years of turn out.  My hypothesis states that the turn out dropped a little as soon after the new graphics.
