I remember when it first aired, not when it ended  :old: I never cared much for the ones with overly-exagerated facial expressions used as comic relief. Some of those anime had some perverse sexual content in them, that made me uncomfortable as well.

In 1999, I would have been in the 4th grade and the show Robotech/SDF-1 Macross (the original, never got into the new generation mess) was my life. What more could a young kid want then battling space mecha that resembled a cross between an f-14 and a f/a-18?

After that, I followed the series MS Gundum Wing pretty well, but not with the same hype as Robotech.

Finally ended my stay at toonami with Dragon Ball Z. Great action show, but it got silly at times.
theres sort-of new redone episodes of dragon ball z

:old:  Is it just me? Never heard of these.

I grew up with the more violent and demeaning cartoons like bugs bunny and the road runner that somehow have been banned from our society.....

Chinese fairy tales are gay. This was the best show on Cartoon Network.

YES! Courage the Cowardly Dog is easily my favorite cartoon of all time, a close second is of course the looney toons. Still mad that I don't see that kind of stuff on anymore.  :bhead

Tom and Jerry and Looney Toons will always be my favorites. I spend a decent amount of time watching the Boomerang channel with my son on weekend mornings. Some of the newer stuff that I liked was Trigun and Samuri Jack. (anybody remember those?)
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

GITS was so biased against america it was insane.

did you see the episode where the C.I.A agent helping them just randomly goes "crazy" and starts killing a bunch of pregnant women? then they bashed america pretty hard at the end of that episode.

or the episode where the american terriost is trying to set a nuke off in tokyo?(like we would have a reason to even do that)

there other show is just as biased: samurai champloo.

that baseball episode was just stupid. "yankee-doodle!"

i used to like them, now i look at it in disgust.

i did used to whatch inuyasha and yu-yu hakashu too.

plus there was a show (cant remember its name) about a red haired samurai who had a backwards blade because he'd given up killing people (he also had an X scar on his cheek)

wish i could remember the name of it  :(

Loved Samuri Jack and Courage the cowardly dog, two shows that I definetley think should of had more playtime.

GitS: Stand Alone Complex is actualy one of the oldest animes I believe, first debuting on I believe on the Sci-Fi channel back when they did late-night anime.  Really was estatic that Adult Swim picked it up.

Does anyone remember Blue Gender on Adult Swim? This show was the coolest show ever, very violent and great story!
