Invisible hangers on CV's
« on: February 14, 2011, 09:34:31 AM »
It amazes me that a cv that is pounded to within an inch of it's life can still spawn acft.

Can an invisible hanger be coded on the CV that has like 90% the life of the CV itself?  That way when a CV is severly crippled flight operations are suspended.

From my bombing I have determined that if you hit 5024 dmg on an untouched cv it is going down.  But if you hit like 4k dmg then fly back, get a new acft fly out and hit with 2k dmg you may not sink it because it has repaired overall dmg life.  Why not have flight operations tagged to cv life.  If the cv is below 10% life suspend operations.

They are way to easy to kill now ... and you want to make it easier ?

It's easy enough to kill CV as it is.

Have the ships develop a list when so much damage is taken...might be possible.    :joystick:

CV requires 8,000 lbs of ordnance to be sunk. Reference: http://trainers.hitechcreations.com/strategy/stratguide.htm#ss

I feel this would make it more complicated than it needs to be.
