changing gun sounds
« on: March 04, 2011, 05:31:13 PM »
Can someone tell me the file name for the field ack in game?  Also the same sound seems to be used in the HurriIID, P-39 and Yak-9T.  I want to replace those sounds with something I like better.  I tried making a sound "37MM.WAV"  but it doesn't supplant those other sounds.

Also, does anyone have the default 30MM sound as a wav file?  I would like to replace my current 20MM sound with that.

I wish I could.  I tried to do the same with time specific reload sounds but had little luck.

Perhaps someone could make a step by step tutorial???   :aok

file has to be
audio sample size 8bit or 16bit
channels <mono>
audio sample rate 22khz
audio format pcm

or stereo for channel and i believe htc supports up to 44khz but i stay at 22 myself

yak uses 37mm_2
hurri 2d uses 37mm_1
39 uses 37mm_1

now u can change each to make different sound by renaming sound and pasting it in individual folders

Thanks, I got the Yak, P-39 and Hurri to work.  :aok   But can you tell me the file name for the field gun?  And do you have a copy of the default 30mm sound I can borrow?
