Oh I see the repricutions from them doing this already, Skuzzy is gonna log on to check on the servers sometime after the game is finished on Sunday, only to discover 60% of the players flying around in un-skinned half-modeled and defenseless B-29s.

I wonder... how are they going to work with the remote-controlled turrets? will he just show the view from just under/above the turret, or what? another thing that i wonder about is the twin bomb bays... are they both going able to be opened/emptied simultaneously, or are there 2 bomb commands. cant wait...

There was a time when AH was still working on Combat Tour. I was in the arena when one of the AH staff was trying out using auto firing guns on bombers....maybe they got it right. Be like flying airbase ack....this B29 thing has me wondering if I'll stick around much longer.....and the 1337 shall inherent AH

ooh... that would be interesting. thing is, would all of the turrets be, realitically auto-turrets, because if that were true, there would be only 1 true manned gun position... in the tail?

The only question with the defensive guns that is still wide open is the lead computing computers the B-29 had, will this be a feature defensive gunners will have at their disposal while gunning in a B-29 in AH?  Nobody (unless you live or work at a certain company in Grapevine, Texas) knows yet.

It is presumed that the defensive gunnery will be the same as it is in every other defensive gunned plane in AH, positions # 2-X for the various gunner/observation points located throughout the plane, you point with your crosshairs and shoot with all defensive guns that are capable of shooting in that direction being linked together to shoot where you tell them to in relation to the position you're manning at a convergence of ~500 meters.

We currently have multiple bomb bay bombers in the game, all bomb bay doors are controlled together and in unison as if they were one single bomb bay.

They had to be. For example in the B-29, emptiying one bomb bay at a time would cause major CoG shift.

There was apparently a complex electrical system to sequence the dropping of the bombs from the front and rear bay to keep the CoG centered.

there was a system, i would assume it dropped 1 or 2 bombsfrom one bay, and switched. will they just, instead of a counter, just drop a couple of bombs from each bomb bay to make it simple?
