Although i like the fact that it's perked i don't get why everyone is talking about it going to 30 or 40k. How often do you run into 234's or mossy16 at 30k? How often do people fly the b17 or lanc's to 30k? It's just going to end up being used like the bombers we already have. Just a larger payload and better defense
It's simple: Arados are not flown at 30k because there is no need to. Their best alt is 20k, climbing to higher alts just takes excessive time, which is useless for a plane already capable of outrunning just about anything but another jet. And the difference between the 17 and the 29 is that the 29 will be perked. Once you attach a heavy price tag, people tend to protect their investment, which for bombers means: Altitude. See the Lancaster in EW. It's the 29 of that arena, so to speak.
Oh, and a side note on the perk complain by the OP: I just did a 25 minute bomber sortie that gave me 32 perks.
They are not that hard to get.
