my film viewer doesnt work

my film viewer doesnt work. nothing happen when i drag films over it; or when i have film viewer open a film.

I am not sure how you are invoking it.

Try starting the film viewer first.  Then use the File->Open menu.

it doesnt open up and i dont even get any errors when i try just nothing happens

just for curiosity's sake, when you clicked File-> Open ( or Film-> Open )to open a film after you clicked on the film and then open at the bottom, did you wait for the film to finish loading ( can see this in the status bar at the bottom left of the film viewer ) once it loaded did you click on the play button?

if you have a Large film it will sometimes take it a few seconds or more for it to load in the film viewer before you are able to click play....... once it is loaded you will probably be seeing the cockpit or be seeing whereever you was in game when you started the film...... until then you will be viewing what looks like a blue sky or just the horizon or what have you.......

try it again but give the film some time to load first, then click play

hmm...... right click on a film and then click open with............ then browse to the "C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High\ahfilm.exe" and point it toward the "ahfilm.exe"  in that folder click on always use this to open this type file.....

see if that works, maybe your shortcut became invalid.......

not sure what else you can do outside of this........

The film viewer is an integral part of the game.  You can install over the top of your current installation without it impacting any of your settings.

Can you explain exactly what you do? Maybe even post screen shots of what your clicking so we know what your doing and where things might be failing.

ahfilm is the viewer file when i 2x click my icons flash then back to biz as usual.

Are you trying to run the game and the film viewer at the same time?  Or running any other DirectX program?
