They did, but it didn't see any action, I believe it morphed into the hornet

oh i been trying to find out if they ever did produce twin engined carrier based aircraft besides the F7F. as far as i know thats the only twin engined carrier based plane from ww2 i know of. i also know it never served on the essex class carriers so that puts it down as a plane to add.
