I am starting a support group Vink.  Here is a picture of my most recent failed sortie in that evil jet powered contraption.  Note the nose shadow.  So very close it hurts... :cry

Cop: so where you boys headed?

Vermont Stoner: We're headed to Canada for some bisquits and gravy sir.

Cop: Canada huh??   Almost made it.

Ouch! That would have drawn a classic Vinkman swearing frenzy in his basement. Of course my tourrette's would cause me to push the VOX button while ranting, much to the dismay [or amusment] of those on Range channel.  :uhoh

Oh and yes I have actually flown them offline to practice. :salute. Not nearly enough apparently. If anyone is interested, the real root cause of this wipeout, like so many others, was caused by impatience, and reliance on habit instead of focused execution of the task at hand.

Truth now.....who else has started the engine, and while it was sputtering to life, you started typing a message, only to find after hitting send you realized the throttle was at FULL and you crashed into an hangar or field gun and died.  :lol

Have you remapped "eject" to something other than the Enter key? Like Ctrl-Enter?   :D

I prefer the method of trying to take off with a stick way out of calibration and you only realize when past the point of no return.  Controlling the plane at stall speed while calibrating is so much fun.   :frown:

My favorite is upping the jet heading out climbing to 10K, finding a gaggle of bombers at 18K I think yummy "belly shots"  :) zoom up bang bang 1 bomber down, pulling over the top , viewing several more victims feeling like this-> then the aweful sound of engine shut down and I realize for whatever reason I took off with only 25% fuel! Then I feel like this --> :huh  :headscratch:  :cry  :furious  :noid
