strange dialog box on login

since the latest version I have a dialog box popup whenever I log in, and possibly also when I enter an arena. its hard to say because it just flashes up for a few ms and is gone. no idea what it says because its not there long enough to read, but it seems to have an "OK" button on it.

I saw the same thing last night when I loged on,It was only there for a sec. could not tell what it said.

It is a dialog box that has been there all along.  It usually happens so fast no one ever sees it.  It is the connect dialog panel.

just fired up AH while running Passmark to try to slow the system down a bit, could just make out something about "firewall" before it disappeared.

I should mention that I'm on XP Pro and havent had to change firewall settings since I first installed AH on this box last summer.
