Landed a B-29 without ailerons & vertical stabilizer
« on: February 25, 2011, 03:16:58 PM »
Not sure if this is a bug or not but I landed a B-29 without ailerons and a vertical stabilizer. There was no wind and I shut off the engines to minimize the yawing force.

The only other plane I ever managed to do this on was a spit14 (had my ailerons though). While I remember the spit got turned sideways and as I was landing my nose was the left wingtip and the controls were reversed, B-29 just came down straight.
