Last I heard, the demands of Real LifeŽ caused Chappy to abandon No. 400 Squadron for lack of time.

I don't know if his No. 400 squaddies kept the squad going.

Chappy failed to mention this to either of his squad mates. DogBod and I had been wondering where he`d got to. Bad show Chappy!

Same person?

If so, seems to me No. 400 Squadron should be disbanded and given to its rightful owners, i.e. the paying ones, Wilfrid and Dogbod.
