our CV went down today while attacking a rook base, but the remaining task group ships continued in the last heading the CV had been set for....which took it straight through the center of the rook airfield. PT boats were spawning from the TG all over the base, stuck on dry land, and I was sitting in a 40mm on one of the destroyers shooting aircraft spawning on the runway right beside the ship......
