What are Flying Meese?
« on: February 08, 2000, 09:33:00 PM »
Flying Meese are large quadripeds with big antlers that like to wade through frigid lakes and eat pond scum.  In their off hours they like to play Aces High.  If this sounds like you you may want to join the Flying Meese.

We are a small squad formed to help each other improve our flying and to enjoy the comeraderie that comes with being a squad.  We are an especially newbie friendly squad and new players can expect substantial help in learning how to fly and survive in the hazardous skies of AH.  We only have one rule, that being gentelmanly (or ladylike as the case may be) behavior.  Nothing ruins a good sim experience like namecalling on the radio so none of that  .  If experienced pilots would like to pass on their skills to squadmates they would be most welcome as well, or anybody inbetween.

To apply just catch Bee, Brethon, or Hollywd in the arena and ask.  We would like to expand slowly so as to give those needing help as much assistance as possible so we will only be accepting a few new members at a time.

Thank you, holly, for allowing me to join this most exclusive, professional muskeg-munching club of assasins and antlered amateurs!  Sorry about my vanishing act during our bomber escort duty, but beer-toting friends and thier kids came over, and the distraction was just too much to take!  If you would like to view our performance on film, let me know, I have my own film and a coby of bloom 25's (one of the B17's) for a different perspective, would be useful for a critique.  Escort work is difficult, SA intensive, and any input will be appreciated.  Any of the meese can reach me at c.hofmann@home.com and let me know, or just to keep in touch.
Golem.
By the way, did you notice how tight and stable the buffing was? very professional!  Next time, we need more scorts!
