B5N2 rear gun bug?

Seems like the auto shutoff for the rear gun is a little off calibration.

think he is trying to indicate that the Tail gun stops farther to the left as shown in the picture then it does on the right. As the right gun stops shooting right near the tail and the left gun stops shooting about 3/4 inch from the tail.

Sorry for being unclear.  I only upped this plane to see what the new parachute guy looked like but noticed this as I climbed out.  I thought it was odd I could shoot through the vertical stabilizer one way but had to be a good foot to the left of it to shoot the other way.
