I have formed up a new squad the 78th Fighter Group from the 8th Air Force. This was an actual fighter group in WW2. The reason I chose this name was because it was the first group that flew the P51,P47, and P38. I am hoping to find members that share the same interests as me in flying ETO US planes mainly escorting bombers to strategic targets, with hi patrol and of course jabo missions. There will be no required practices unless members request them. I am hoping to learn team dog fighting tactics to fully utilize boom and zoom aircraft This is my first attempt so i am open to any help if interested let me know.
