Open invitation week to Marine Corp Squadrons
« on: July 31, 2001, 08:38:00 AM »
MAG-33,(Marine Air Group 33) is a historically based 'Air Group' of multiple squadrons that primarily flew late in the war against the Japanese, and consisted of various squadrons.

Currently in AH, we have 5 squadrons that belong to MAG-33.

The squadrons involved so far with MAG-33 are Jimbears VMF-111 "Devil Dogs", Redwings VMF-115 "Joes Jokers", Ripsnorts VMF-323 "Death Rattlers, Jebo's VMF-222 "Flying Deuces" and Troxels VMFA-212 "Lancers". Combined we are approximately 60+ strong.

We meet officially once a month, and combine forces to have some inter-squadron fun.  I can safely say that most look forward to our monthly MAG night.

If you are a Marine Corp squadron, and would like to be part of MAG-33, all that is required is that you fly for Knits, tune a frequency to a designated radio ch. (for voluntary, combined, inter-squad activity on non-MAG mission nites) and attempt to attend our monthly MAG mission night.

It's alot of fun, and you won't regret it!

Semper Fi!
