Look

Look up at the skies.  Is it a bird?  Is it a plane?  No it is a large formation of He-111's or Ju-188's or Do-217's.  See how the airfields burn and the civilians run.  Would look great in the BOB scenarios/FSO's .

:rofl Nice wish :D

Ju-188? ew.

I'd rather the Do-217 "Flying Pencil" than that fat, ugly thing. :D

Very strong +1 for the Ju188.  I know at least one person who would subscribe just to fly it.

What???

1) Ju188 is one of the best looking bombers of WWII.

2) The Do217 was not the "Flying Pencil", nor was it a derivative of it.  The "Flying Pencil" was the Do17, and it was withdrawn from service shortly after the invasion of the USSR due to obsolescence.

OH my bad. :o I personally don't like the Ju-188. IMO, B-17G takes that prize.

Sorry, name mix-up.

The B-17F and B-17G are also among the best looking bombers of WWII.

I like that one, too. I'm going to go make another thread about the "Best looking airplane of WWII" before this one is completely derailed.
