cant connect

well it was connecting just fine....but it wont any longer, I can get online with IE and firefox but AH wont connect, I re-allowed access through my firewall, still nothing, did a ping plotter....

any help would be appreciated




I am using wireless and a usb connect to the wireless, this is all I can use as of now

All the problems start at that 10.x.x.x IP address.  If that is your router, then power cycle it.  If you are connecting to the router via a USB port, and not an Ethernet port, and the USB port is bouncing, the same result will appear.

Have you been running and P2P software?  Many games use the BiTorrent libraries today (such as WoW) to distribute patches/updates.  Make sure none of those are running.  If they are, then it will take 24 hours, or so, for that mess to clear up after it has been shutdown.

By the way, allowing aceshigh.exe through the firewall may not actually allow it.  Many software firewalls databases will get corrupt and the only way to correct it is to remove the software from the computer, reinstall it and start anew.

cant get to the router im staying at a cabin and WIFI is included.... firewall, I'm just using the windows, don't know if that matters.
 

for now I'm gonna have to deal, I'm guessing its just a crappy connection, sometimes it says I'm connected to the internet but it wont allow me to connect....
yesterday I was able to play shortly after I posted this, lol go figure..played for awhile too without disco, eventually it did disco but I was tired and gonna log soon anyway.
