sounds like a virus disabled update
got it to update 20 minutes after i edidted thatr post...his firewall wasnt on and it wouldnt turn on, could figure out why. tried in safe mode, nothin. turned it off, let it sit for a little, turned it back on tried turnin on the firewall for chits and giggles and it turned on fine. I was thinkin "odd
" went to try and update Malware bytes..updated fine. dont know what it was that kept the firewall fro mturnin on (or why it was turned off to begin with), and why malware bytes wouldnt update. its all figured out so i cant complain too much.
