I don't see how the Looney Toons were "Politically Incorrect", even Speedy Gonzales was well within the limits. Those guys are the best, it's real craftsmanship. But how about a round of applause for Johnny Quest and Scooby Doo? Those guys put on some intense and frightening shows, respectively.
But here's one that I can't believe nobody has mentioned:
It will be, to this day, where else a badger can pull off what in CoD can only be described as an:

eshotkill
Or where a squirrel can put a throwing knife into a stoat! I mean, these guys made Chuckie look like Barney! It was the most violent, and the most glorious set of books I've ever read. And they were availible in elementary school. When I realized I'd read the entire collection, I was at a loss. It had been a part of my life for three years. Then I found the cartoons on YouTube, and they were great.
The thickest plot, the most epic battles, and the best animation I've ever seen on PBS. If only the new cartoons could be this good!
Sorry for the rant, but I will never forget this series!
