Film viewer sound

Then I suspect that the people such as myself that are having sound issues with the film viewer are all using custom sounds. I've posted several times on the bug report forum that the sounds that I do get are all default. I don't use any default sounds in game.

I am having this issue.  I don't believe I am using any custom sounds.

It's very frustrating.  Reviewing films as a learning tool is virtually worthless if I can't hear the throttle and flap work.

Using Ranger's sound pack FWIW. No sounds at all from my plane. Voice comms come across OK. I hear explosions but not other plane sounds.

No film sound for my plane, some sounds for others. I have been waiting for a fix. I dont want to switch back to default sound if I can avoid it.

Just notice this too, no sound... in film viewer..

I did "remove" all custom sounds (renamed sounds-folder) and started AH, closed AH.

After that I do have all sounds in AH film viewer....

This worked for me...
 I just don't like default sounds

My plane has never had any gun sounds until the last update (ty HTC).  All my sounds currently work, though they play all the default sounds instead of the custom ones.  I still have the weirdness of the landing gear sound instead of the engine start up sound.  That has always been like that, although wasn't as bothersome as having no gun sounds.

I had the engine start sound up until 2.23
After that I get gear sound for engine start.

Still haven't seen a solution to this issue.

I am not using default sounds and only have a few sounds in film viewer (vox, and gunfire only).

Sounds have worked in the past just fine and I haven't used default sounds for quite some time and I don't plan on going back.

There is default explosions and hit noises, but every thing else I cannot hear

I've got the same thing, no sound in the film viewer,  so I down loaded AH to my laptop and ran a film file , the same one on both my gaming machine and my laptop,  laptop the file had sound.  The gaming machine doesn't.  sound stopped  after the release with the B-29

copied the sounds folder from my laptop to my gaming machine and now have sound , it's the default sounds, but it works.
