Did the same thing when i was 16 Raptordude. Dad got me a 79 Dodge Powerwagon as my first vech. I guess he figured wrap me in as much Detroit steel as he can. One day backing up the truck, crunch, mailbox gone, bumper hung up on the post. He looked at me and shook his head, said " Kid, put it in drive and hit the gas, that'll get you off the post." It worked like a charm, right up to the point that i hit the garage door.
