Every dime I have is invested in this company along with a lot of other peoples.
HiTech
As I had suspected.
As most ventures of this type are.
I can't imagine that it is easy to get a loan for something of this nature:
"I want to make a video game"
"It will be as, or more addictive than, crack cocaine"
"No, it is not a hyped-up, regurgitated version of a FPS with a different name."
"No, not jet fighters. WWII warbirds is what we had in mind"
"No it won't have a lot of eye-candy, or compel users to buy uber computers to run it. We will be focusing more on the flight model and trying to make it as accurate as possible all while making it playable on the computer that the average human can afford, within reason"
"Yes, our staff members will personally watchdog the forums and respond to reports, wishes and tech support in a timely and courteous fashion even though they are up to their tulips in development work"
"No, we will be running most of the game on the client's computer instead of letting our servers get bogged down and telling the customer "Tough Shoes, you get what you get when the servers are packed" or "Sorry, we know that you have friends you want to play the game with but you picked the wrong server (when you had a one-time choice of servers at 1st log-in, so screw you, that's the way the cookie crumbles"
"No, we won't be smearing our logo feces on every channel, all the time and No, there will not be some massive marketing push, we are going to select the right time and place for our advertisements"
"Yes, you read that part correctly, we will only be charging $14.95/month"
If you would have come to me with that small business plan, I would have pissed my pants laughing.
