i know arena caps are needed but i have a better idea

well when did it happened?  little warning would've been nice.  most likely sombody fell asleep this is 10 min later.  this will be the end of the squads since they wont be able to switch to play with their squadies.

What happened is simple, the caps are currently triggered at 70% so once orange hit 210 the cap increased.

The force is so strong pulling people to the bigger arena that once 210 is hit , it no longer really grows and people continue in the blue.
One person leaves and the cap goes down on blue.

No, when the orange arena hit 205, it also lowered the caps on the blue arena, which only shows maximum amount of pilots... i.e. 200/200, even though 300 might have been in blue at the time, the MENU showed 200/200. When Orange hit 215, it increased the limit on blue as well, so it showed the full amount of pilots in there, because it was below the maximum allowed in that server at the time.

this has been happening all day, you think perhaps you can losen the caps a little more than this?  will allowing a couple more players in blue really turn it into a cesspool?  its been frustratring getting discoed and having to come back to this all day.

Lemmings, man...lemmings.  It doesn't matter what arena is full- THAT'S the one they HAVE to get into.  

This made even more absurd when the open arena has numbers +/- 10 of the full one.

not embarrased you ht, but the last picture was taken about 5 minutes after the second.  all picutes were taken withing 15 min of each other.so over one hundred people came out of nowhere and joined the blue arena and the blue arena only?  I bet next months due that there's a bug in the system where it doesnt report the true number of players.  (not all the time, but sometimes).  I shouldda reported this is a bug instead of manking it a joke, but seriously i tried for over 1/2 an hour to enter.  not just because the orange map in arena sucks, but more because i was curious about why blue kept at 200.  I have noticed this several times, where there's only a few people in one arena and all of a sudden about a zillion people show up.  and it's not because some special event ended.

100 players didn't come out of nowhere.
the cap increased so blue wasn't full anymore and was showing the true total

It's not a glitch.

Arenas now show the max when then are full instead of the overage.

Why can't we just have a que?

so instead of it saying 'arena is full etc' you get put into a que

so for example it would say 'Arena Full, qued xx/xx'

it will make getting into a full arena easy mode

Let me see if I understand this...

You cannot get into the full arena, so come here and whine about it while you wait, but all of a sudden would have no problem waiting because now you're in a queue to get in?  Anyone else see the humor here?

I think the point is so you could be in line to get in rather than randomly refreshing and trying to get in by chance.
