played some, its allright. the graphics tho kinda turn me away. especially playing killzone 3 before this.

i doubt i'll be sticking with this. im allready playing killzone 3 and bad company 2 which i consider better games. and im about to move on to Resistance 3 once that comes out.

Operation flashpoint:dragon rising russia was our ally.

the plot was this: russia discovers on an island a very rich amount of oil.but they dont have the proper drilling equipment. so they contract the u.s to drill it for them. the only problem is this island has been in a debate between russia&china (they both think they own the island). so china invades the island. and the u.s+russia fight them off to secure the large oil reserves under the island.

im just getting a little tired of killing so many russians in videogames. its getting boring. atleast koreans are a change of scenary in a way.

When did OFP: Dragon come out?  Never heard of it.  Then again I haven't followed or played OFP for about ten to eight years now, I'm old-school.

Just got the game today (about 2 hours ago) and it was freakin awesome. i actually think its better than black ops or any other CoD game. (those have little meaning to me now that i have homefront) and i doubt ill ever play CoD ever again.

Patch coming out soon that supposedly fixes a lot of multiplayer issues.

ack-ack
ill be back on it...soon as my connection is half decent.

probably MP bug.
it isnt.. if you go to their version of create a class (think its called armory or something) it says "Purchase slot 1" or something...in it is a kevlar vest fer 300 battlepoints or something.

yeah - you can get them cheap. You get like 250 for a kill.

Sniping is going to kill the game though.

the online is much better than cod, the reason they took a step down from graphics is to give better connection to the player. One bar on this game is better than 3 bars on cod.

beg to differ....my gunnery is not bad in FPS games...but my redbarring ripped me off of so many kills and gave me so many unnesecary deaths. its unreal.

Someone enlighten this longtime gamer - how exactly do the latest high-end graphics (entirely client-based) impact network connections and data transfer rates?
