I was a flight planner at A.O.P.A. in the early 80s and headquarters in fredrick maryland had a sweet library to your right as you entered the lobby that was separated from the lobby by a wall to ceiling glass wall.
I was in the library during lunch when a guest walked toward me intending to ask a question as I waved frantically at him to stop........which caused him to frown and walk faster toward me and bounce face first off the glass.
Watching his expression change from angry/impatient to surprised was priceless.
Silly impatient pilot ignored the wave-off and forced a bad approach.
