I remember seeing an interview with a bunch of Hollywood types, a few stars etc, that had gone to Hong Kong with Bruce Lee.  While walking down the street he was challenged to numerous street fights, just in a few blocks (I lived in Hong Kong for most of 1996 before the Chinese took it back, and it was the same then as in Bruce Lee's time, stamping your foot on the ground meant you wanted to throw down).  Bruce Lee took EVERY fight, much to the shock and horror or the Hollywooders, and he beat the living hell out of all comers, a few of them in 2 or even 3 on one fights.  Ground fighting or not, pretty amazing to have several fights in a short time and space, and win them all.  Also, the Governator has always maintained that Bruce Lee was pound for pound the strongest man in living history, and if you do a bit of research, anyone would have to agree.
that is nutty. I wanna be Bruce Lee.

Gman, he was fighting guys that were his size. The Undertaker is 6'8", 285 pounds, with agility and power. Yes Bruce Lee was great, but giving up 140 pounds? Sorry, he'd get pounded. I know wrestling is fake, but it still requires strength and agility---and unlike that Kung Fu man dancing thing pro wrestling moves can be incorporated into a street fight.

Do you think Bruce Lee could beat up Brock Lesner? It'd be like a duel between a jeep and a tank- eventually the tank will catch him with one shot, and it's all over.

Bruce Lee would get pounded if your guy fell on top of him.
Still, I'm sure Bruce would step out of the way in time.

Besides, they already fought. Have you not seen the video?
Bruce Lee totally kicked him right in the noggin, knocked him
right out.

I know, I saw "They Live" with Rowdy Roddy Piper and he body slammed the big cross eye black guy in the alley trying to put on the sunglasses, and WON!

Uh, as far as street fighting goes, we don't know who his opponents were, and if you think orientals are all the same size, check this guy:

...who was a good friend of Bruce Lee and appeared as the main henchman in "Enter the Dragon".

For all we know Bruce was beating up Hollywood thugs that were bigger than he was, maybe not as big as Mr. Calaway, but we just don't know.

You can go over the "what if's" all you want, but the bottom line is there's no definitive way to know who'd win this fight unless HiTech decides to model it for us. And even then you still don't know.

I used to play Mortal Kombat and I never lost, so it's not like I'm a wuss.

BTW, "They Live" was a chilling look at our future. Great movie.

Humour, sarcasm, mastery of circa 1993 arcade games,  and a chilling ability to equate wrestling with real life....perhaps I was hasty, maybe I'll reevaluate my knee jerk reaction.
