Learn to fly a real 2 seat 262!

The Collings Foundation is going to start giving 1/2 and 1 hr lessons in their 262!  :O
(I'm guessing about $2500 to $3000 tho  :frown:)

The Kanonenvogel had 6 rounds per pod, this is not even close to being open for debate.

Might be a bit more than that, to ride int the PPPPPPPPPPPPP51 it was $3500 for 1/2 hour and $4500 or more for an hour, but sure would be fun  :airplane:

Last I heard they still haven't gotten approval to fly the airplane for hire.

Ouch.  Here in Sioux Falls, SD, there is a 2 seater P51D owned privately and it is available for $1800 an hour, at least it was 2 years ago.

Not a real 262 in that it's a new build, with different engines.  Looks the part, but isn't a survivor of WW2.  As close as anyone is going to get to flying a 262 though :)

There are a number of 262 survivors.  Hughes did in fact have one but there are a number scattered in museums around the world, including the US.
