What can i say, hes a good kid  . Was an easy sell to mom as well, explained "its a BluRay player and DVD player and we can stream Net Flix! No more stopping by Blockbuster on the way home dear. <------note, its all in the sell, you younger gents take note for when u get married  .

If i were to get him one of the current BF games, which ones would you recommend?

Battlefield Bad Company 2. or maybe Medal Of honor. Medal of Honor isnt great, but its sorta like Bad Company 2.

i had to do the same thing to get my mom to let me spend the extra $$ to buy the 320 gb instead of 250 gb PS3  (told her 320 gb had Blue ray and the 250gb didn't)

After World at War, COD has been going down hill. MW2 was a complete and utter joke. Black Ops was a great story however. Treyarch was always better than IW.

Ordered mine a few weeks ago. As I like to have the disk, I pre-ordered at
Amazon. Another plus is they don't "pre-charge" you. Only charged on shipping day.
Most places are by download only (Steam, et.). And I believe they charge you when ordered?
