And as many flares as it can carry.

Beau/410 package sounds good to me.

If you want a Griffon clipped wing bird, then it would have to be my XII :)

The negative G bit was fixed by a lady boffin with a bit about the size of a schilling that was placed in the carb to stop the back flow in negative G.  This was done on lots of the Spits.  The Spit XII guys remember it being done to the XIIs early in 43 after they got them.

only problem with the Trops is they are so dam ugly! but they should be represented as so many were sent to the med and middle east. without going through the lists manually one batch at a time, I cant work out whether most of em were LF or not, the versatility of the spit means that you seem to get every possible combination of configurations.

I guess it depends on whether you want to balance the Vs:
LF VB (speed and rollrate) & VCT (extra ammo)

or have a clear difference in combat effectiveness (and therefore ENY/Perk):
VB & LF VCT (speed, rollrate and extra ammo)

Is that all the variants of spits in WWII?

thats the production numbers for the marks that served in WWII, although not all those individual aircraft served in combat. some were prototypes, others arrived too late to serve.

Lady Boffin - sounds like an adult film actress.  ;)

Don't we have enough Spits already?  How about a nice Boomerang instead?
