TY Ack Ack I may give that a try.  I've got two really bad habits.  I'm heavy handed on the stick and I tend to not set my rudder back to neutral with the obvious results.

My X52 is pretty stiff

you need to work out a bit if your X52 is "stiff"

Ive owned three of them and they are all loose. besides the other ones that buddies have had were also all loose......

X52 Pro has stiffer spring tension than the standard X52. The pro uses a duel spring set up. The CH has lighter tension. I had to go to the gym for six months to move the Thrustmaster Warthog around <G>

Idk, the first joystick I had a long long time ago when I first started aces high ( like 8 years ago) It was a very tight joystick. But the X-52 seems so loose, which makes it harder to fly with.

i notched a bottlecap ( 2 liter cap) and slid it under the spring on the lower side of the spring where it touches the black plastic washer it made it tight and feels better than new, you might want to try that first before buying a new stick, it worked for me

I used the center of a CD holder, still made it Barely have any "tension"
